Abstract: To promote the implementation of Circular Economy and Life Cycle Assessment (CA) in the delivery industrial pumps, Jiang Haifa Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd has established a dedicated green packaging department, building a closed-loop system covering supplier access, packaging design, on-site operations, warehousing turnover, export transportation, reverse recycling, and resource disposal. Adhering to the "3R1D" principle of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Degable, we reduce single-use packaging consumption through traceable ledgers, batch identification, and material classification management, providing green supply chain support for the export of API 610 chemical process pumps, API685 sealless pumps, and units.

1. Unified Management by Dedicated Department

The department involves personnel from process, quality, warehousing, and foreign trade compliance, responsible for packaging plan review, material access, on-site inspection, recycling statistics, and document archiving. Packaging materials, suppliers, usage counts, maintenance records, and final disposal methods are uniformly recorded in a ledger, ensuring that each set of chemical pump packaging is queryable, traceable, and verifiable.

1. Reducing Single-Use Packaging at the Source

Considering the dimensions and transportation risks of pump bodies, motors, bases, couplings, and spare parts, we prioritize reusable wooden cases, metal frames, turnover pallets, recycled paper cushioning materials, and detachable protective components. While meeting requirements for moisture resistance, rust prevention, shock absorption, and marine reinforcement, we reduce the use of foamed plastics and disposable auxiliary materials. Packaging design simultaneously accounts for forklift handling, container securing, on-site assembly and disassembly, and secondary return transport, improving packaging utilization.

1. Establishing a Reverse Recycling Closed Loop

A dedicated area for recyclable packaging and sorting stations are set up at the plant site, where recovered wooden pallets, steel frames, paper-based cushioning, and flexible auxiliary materials are inspected, cleaned, repaired, and re-warehoused. Packaging that can no longer be used sorted by material type and handed over to compliant units for disposal, with of weight, destination, and disposal certificates, providing foundational data for packaging waste reduction, resource utilization, and carbon footprint accounting.

1. Supporting Overseas EPC Green Supply Chain Audits

For thermal power, coal chemical, petrochemical, and overseas EPC projects, we provide packaging material lists, batch records, wood packaging quarantine documents, and related inspection files based on contract destination requirements. The system references GB/T 37422—2019 T/SDIOT 019.4—1, T/SDI 025.1—2, and GB/T19142—2016 continuously improving Jiangsuifa’s low-carbon delivery capability for industrial pumps.
