The conveying of battery slurry has always been a key challenge in the production process. Traditional gear pumps or screw pumps, when handling slurries containing particles, are prone to particle breakage due to excessive shear forces, affecting battery consistency. While diaphragm pumps can reduce shear, they fall short in flow accuracy and pulsation control. A customer from the southwestern region mentioned that their production line experiences uneven conveying caused by slurry settling. We suggested on-site that they try adjusting the pump's speed curve in combination with a circulation piping design.
