To address key challenges in the operation of boiler circulating pumps, domestic enterprises have conducted systematic research focusing on hydraulic design, rotor structure, stator manufacturing, and sealing safety. First, by developing hydraulic models with low net positive suction head requirement and wide-range high efficiency, the pump can adapt to various operating conditions such as startup, low load, and variable conditions, ensuring stable flow and head while effectively reducing cavitation risk and improving operational efficiency. Second, an innovative high-reliability solid composite integrated rotor has been developed, structurally solving industry pain points such as the tendency of traditional canned sleeves to bulge and welds to crack, thereby enhancing the overall strength and long-term operational reliability of the rotor. Meanwhile, to address the challenges of limited space small-sized stators and difficulties in winding insertion, a process for inserting large-span coil windings into confined spaces has been developed, breaking through technical bottlenecks in stator manufacturing and improving the manufacturing precision and insulation reliability of the motor section. Additionally, the boiler circulating pump has been equipped with a sealing structure resistant to high temperature and high water pressure, ensuring the integrity and reliability of the boiler pressure boundary, preventing leakage of high-temperature and high-pressure media, and further safeguarding equipment operational safety. The breakthrough in key technologies for boiler circulating pumps marks a step forward for China in the field high-end pump equipment for coal-fired power. Their localization not only helps procurement and maintenance costs for power plants but also improves spare parts response speed and on-site service capabilities.
