This achievement not only marks a key technological breakthrough in the utilization of high-temperature thermal energy in China but also provides a new technological pathway the green and low-carbon transformation of industry in the future. The relevant research results have been published in international authoritative journals such as Nature Energy and Applied Physics Letters, demonstrating China's continuously improving international competitiveness in the field of advanced thermal energy equipment. For a long time, high-temperature heat sources in industrial production have mainly relied on traditional methods such as coal combustion, gas combustion, and electric heating, which not only have low energy utilization efficiency but also generate significant carbon emissions. Against the backdrop of the "dual carbon" goals, achieving energy conservation, consumption reduction, and green heating in the industrial sector has become an important direction for global energy technology development. Ultra-high temperature industrial heat pump technology is considered one of the key approaches to addressing industrial high-temperature heat demands. The successfully developed thermoacoustic Stirling ultra-high temperature heat pump, through the coupling of the thermoacoustic effect and the Stirling cycle, achieves stable high-temperature output exceeding 200°C, breaking through the technical bottleneck of traditional industrial heat pumps that struggle to reach high-temperature ranges. Compared to traditional heating equipment, this ultra-high temperature heat pump offers advantages such as high efficiency, energy savings, low carbon emissions, and safety. It can effectively recover large amounts of low-grade waste heat during industrial production processes and, after energy upgrading, reuse it in production processes, significantly improving overall energy utilization efficiency. In the future, this technology can be widely applied in industrial sectors requiring high-temperature heat sources, such as papermaking, printing and dyeing, ceramics, metallurgy, chemical engineering, and food processing. It can not only reduce enterprise operating costs but also decrease fossil energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, playing a significant role in promoting green manufacturing in industry.
