Digital Solutions for Chemical Pumps: Enabling Intelligent Control in Water Operations  
From September 24 to 28, the 2024 International Industrial Expo was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Our company unveiled a new generation of digital solutions for chemical pumps, highlighting an intelligent pump monitoring system based on IoT technology. This solution aims to address common issues in the chemical industry, such as high pump equipment maintenance costs and slow fault response times.

At the expo, our booth was located in the core area of Hall 4.1H, covering approximately 120 square meters. A dynamic demonstration platform was set up within the booth, simulating a production scenario from a fine chemical enterprise: a transport unit consisting of three chemical pumps, with sensors collecting real-time data on vibration, temperature, flow rate, and other parameters, which were simultaneously uploaded to a cloud management platform. When simulated parameters deviated from normal ranges, the system pushed warning alerts via mobile and PC terminals within three seconds. This demonstration attracted technical personnel from multiple chemical companies, who stopped to inquire.

Our company’s technical lead explained on-site that the core of this digital solution lies in "predictive maintenance." By continuously analyzing pump operation data, the system can identify early signs of faults, such as bearing wear or seal aging, helping users reduce unplanned downtime by an average of about 30%. Currently, this solution has completed a pilot run in an olefin production unit at a major domestic petrochemical enterprise. According to feedback from the enterprise, equipment inspection frequency was reduced from twice daily to once weekly, while the replacement cycle for spare parts was extended by approximately 20%.

During the expo, industry media outlet Pump and Valve Market conducted a special interview at our booth. The editor-in-chief commented, "The digital transformation of chemical pumps is moving from concept to implementation. Our company’s solution offers a reference path for the industry in terms of data collection accuracy and algorithm adaptability."

Our marketing department head stated that participating in the expo was not only about showcasing existing products but also about gathering real needs from end users. During the event, the team engaged in technical exchanges with over 50 potential customers, collecting suggestions for improvements in areas such as interface interaction and alarm threshold settings. These feedback points will be directly incorporated into subsequent product iteration plans.
