I. Product Overview

The VSD/VDD Series Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pumps (model coverage VS1 to VS7) are a new generation of high-efficiency, energy-saving fluid conveying equipment independently designed, developed, and manufactured by Jiangsu Haifa Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. This series strictly follows ISO and relevant domestic mechanical industry standards, combined with the company's many years of manufacturing experience in the fluid machinery field, and is specifically designed for medium/high pressure and high flow rate conditions in modern industry, municipal engineering, civil construction, and other fields.

The VSD/VDD series, characterized by compact structure, smooth operation, low noise, and long life, is widely used in water treatment, industrial boosting, boiler feed water, fire protection systems, air conditioning circulation, and many other applications.

II. Model Description

  • VSD: Standard vertical multistage centrifugal pump (standard mechanical seal / gland packing)

  • VDD: Extended shaft / special configuration vertical multistage centrifugal pump (suitable for high temperature or special media)

  • VS1~VS7: Indicates the number of stages or impellers; the higher the number, the higher the head.

VI. Applicable Media

  • Clean water and liquids with physical/chemical properties similar to clean water

  • Mildly corrosive industrial wastewater

  • Suspensions containing small amounts of solid particles (requires special configuration)

  • Oils, coolants, ethylene glycol solutions

  • High-temperature hot water, thermal oils (use VDD series)

VII. Installation and Operating Conditions

  1. Ambient Temperature: ≤40℃

  2. Altitude: ≤1000m (derating required above this)

  3. Suction Conditions: Pump must be installed with flooded suction or equipped with a foot valve / vacuum priming device. Dry running is strictly prohibited.

  4. Power Supply: 380V/50Hz (other voltages/frequencies available on request)

  5. Protection Rating: IP54/IP55

  6. Insulation Class: Class F

  • Low Noise: Precision dynamically balanced impellers; operating noise below standard requirements.

  • Long Life: Key components use wear-resistant / corrosion-resistant materials; bearing brands available include SKF, NSK, or high-quality domestic brands.

  • Easy Maintenance: Mechanical seals and bearings can be replaced without removing piping.

IX. Scope of Supply

Standard supply includes:

  • Hydraulic parts: pump body, impeller, shaft, diffuser, etc.

  • Baseplate (cast iron or welded steel)

  • Coupling and guard

  • Y-series / High-efficiency IE3 motor

  • One set of mechanical seal (spare seal optional)

  • Matching inlet/outlet flanges, bolts, gaskets

  • Product certificate, installation and operation manual

  3. Medium name, temperature, pH value, viscosity

  4. Site altitude and environmental conditions

  5. Special requirements (explosion-proof motor, special materials, ATEX certification, marine use, etc.)
